♥ Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip Ice Cream ♥

Move over, Cold Stone. This ice cream from the local Graeter's is oh-so-creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. They do have a plethora of other flavors available (and seasonal additions such as peach for summer, pumpkin in the fall, eggnog at Christmastime, etc.), but my mouth waters over Black Raspberry Chip every time! The flavor isn't too raspberry-y. And who can refuse those deliciously huge chunks of pure, rich chocolate?!?! All the ingredients are high-quality, pure and natural (nothing unpronounceable here!) It's Oprah's favorite. And my favorite. And my dad's favorite. And my dog's favorite (she gets to lick the bowl when I'm done!) Plus, its bright purple! How can you not love it?

From the Graeters's website:

"Our secret recipe of fresh cream and egg custard is gently swirled along the chilled sides of a slowly spinning French Pot Freezer. As the creamy blend thickens, a blade softly scrapes the sides of the pot, folding the ice cream into itself. Then we add the fresh ingredients to complete our unique flavors.

The gentle folding process prevents air from whipping into our ice cream and accounts for the extremely dense and creamy consistency. Where a typical pint of ice cream can weight as little as 8 ounces, a Graeter's pint weights nearly a full pound! Graeter's ice cream is so rich and creamy that we have to pack every pint by hand."

Can you say YUM?!?!?!

  1. But is the vanilla as good as Blue Bell's Homemade Vanilla? That's the real contender. =)
